STONE SOUP

Sunday, February 12, you are invited to have lunch with us in the auditorium. We will be making soup with the carcases from the Christmas turkeys and all the wonderful vegetable donations brought in by you, the parishioners, to add to the pot. Just like in the story, the result is a delicious soup and enough for all. This lunch highlights the Outreach Ministry’s annual display of projects and events that are undertaken to reach out to others internationally, nationally and locally. You will be amazed at the diversity of our `reach`, informed about the distribution of a significant amount of the St. James` Annual budget, and warmed to the soul by the difference such outreach work can make in the lives of both givers and receivers. The 10.30 a.m. service will focus on mission and lead into a great lunch with sharing of information. The day promises to be enlightening for all. Please do join us for this.
